Data we process
- Account identifiers and contact details used for sign-in and account service.
- Player profile data including name, date of birth, official handicap, home club, amateur-status confirmation and optional phone details.
- For players aged 14–17, guardian name, guardian email and the separate guardian-consent record.
- Team, invitation, season-entry, round, scoring, correction, dispute, ranking and qualification records.
- Payment status, amount, currency and payment references. Card details are entered in the hosted payment service and are not stored by SCRAMBL².
- Photos or logos uploaded by users, moderation records, security records and technical audit information.
Purposes and legal bases
Data is processed where necessary to provide accounts, register teams, run and protect the championship, calculate and publish results, administer payments, answer requests, comply with legal duties, and pursue legitimate interests in service security, integrity and abuse prevention. Where consent is the appropriate legal basis—such as a distinct optional use—it is requested separately and may be withdrawn for future processing.
This Privacy Policy is information provided to users. Acknowledging or reading it is not consent and does not replace the legal basis required for processing.
Public competition information
Approved team identities, club affiliation, competition results, rankings, qualification position and selected moderated championship content may be visible publicly. Private profile fields, contact information, full dates of birth, guardian details and payment details are not public competition data.
Recipients and service providers
Data may be processed by providers supporting hosting, authentication, data storage, security and hosted payment checkout. Access is limited to what is needed for the service. Data may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Retention
Data is retained only as long as needed for the relevant service, championship integrity, contractual records, legal obligations and the establishment or defence of claims. Competition history may need to remain as a durable sporting record. Specific periods depend on the data category and applicable obligations; no period is stated here where it has not yet been legally approved.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Communications
Account and championship messages may be introduced separately before launch. Transactional notifications are not active at present. Marketing messages are not included in this policy as an active SCRAMBL² feature.
